Zach is a seasoned healthcare finance professional with over 15 years of industry experience. Zach currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of HMP Senior Solutions. In that role, Zach has overseen the onboarding of over 30 senior care facilities financial functions including accounting & financial reporting, payroll, and financial systems. During his time as CFO, Zach has led the financial aspect in the sales process of over 10 senior care facilities.

Zach's experience spans across the entire healthcare spectrum but includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate infrastructure design, cash flow models, debt covenants, bankruptcy & out-of-court settlements, section 363 sales, unsecured creditors' committee, and financial systems integration.

Prior to HMP, Zach served as Assistant Vice President, Corporate Controller for the largest private, physician-led healthcare network in the nation. During his time at Steward Health Care, Zach led the buildout of the newly relocated corporate accounting function from Boston to Dallas, recruited and built a team of over 30 FTE's, completed 3 financial audits, and provided various restructuring & financial projection models to executive management.

Prior to Steward, Zach led the financial side of several healthcare restructuring engagements including chapter 11 cases from the debtor and creditor perspective, interim CFO for a physician practice, and transaction advisory services. Zach has developed a passion for advising healthcare operators, lenders and creditor committees during distressed periods. Zach also served as Acquisitions Controller and Director of Accounting for Nashville based companies, LifePoint Health and IASIS Healthcare, respectively. Zach started his career in the long-term care space at publicly traded National Healthcare Corporation (NHC).

Zach is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Tennessee and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). Zach holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from Middle Tennessee State University.
