Randy Harrison

Randy Harrison is a Senior Director for Healthcare Management Partners.

Randy Harrison has more than 30 years of experience in financial management and operations in the healthcare field. Before joining HMP, Randy served as President of Phoenix Management Services. During the course of his most recent assignment as Chief Financial Officer of Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, he led initiatives that have resulted in an 11% increase in net revenues and a 6% productivity improvement. In addition, he has improved compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, and performed integral activities to facilitate other strategic initiatives related to capital projects and physician recruitment that led to a 7% increase in admissions. Prior to his work at Memorial Medical Center, Randy and his team provided interim management services, with an emphasis on strategic planning, operations evaluations, and financial analyses for corporations and not-for-profit agencies. Randy served as interim chief financial officer for 10 facilities. He also led projects that tackled a wide range of operational issues, such as compliance, pricing, charge systems, contract negotiations, facility expansion, and communications with the U.S. Department of Justice.

Randy holds a master of business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor of science in health care management from the Medical College of Virginia.

He is a member of many professional and civic organizations, including American College of Health Care Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association, United Way, and the Red Cross.
